    hey i saw this Q. but cud not figure it out :-

    A right circular cone is formed by bending a semicircular piece of paper of radius 8cm. Determine the slant height l and the curved surface area of the cone, corrected to 1 decimal place.

    the answer for the above Q is :-

    l = 8cm

    Curved surface area = ½ x 8 x 8 x p
    = 100.5cm2 (1 d.p.)

    as far as i know, a Relavent experience ,for ex a IT experince will be very much helpful for Masters in CompSci.A combo of all good scores and recos will surely boost your profile and make your chances into top schools.If you are goin for a Masters for which your Exp wouldnt help, try to highlight your Recos and resume on how you have and can utilize your work-exp in this new field. I guess, that shld do.I have heard that guys with gud work-exp, have bright chances for funding.Hope its true.. :)
