    answer after discussion……..B

  2. x_cube says:

    after discussion…..B

  3. Kush Gupta says:

I go with all the others. We are right… Answers after the discussion. And every discussion should be over within 23 hours…. The 24th hour put the new question…. Thats how i guess things would be better. Thanks for taking this suggestion.

    Regards,
    kush.

  4. admin says:

Thanks a lot for your suggestions… carry on please !!!!

  5. Venki says:

I think it is better to post the correct ANSWER CHOICE (A, B, C, D or E) and the ANSWER.

    E.g: B. 10 for the Question of 25th May

Because it avoids a trip back to the page which contains the question.

And if u r patient enough provide breif explanation.

  6. kaushal shah says:

Answer along with the brief explaination should be there. Then and then only it helps. Thanks for taking the suggestion.

  7. pragya says:

    answer after discussion

  8. mahesh says:

    i hav one more suggestion
perhaps the answer for a particular days question can be given along with the new question for that day!!!
    how about that??

  9. admin says:

    If I am correct Mahesh,
You want to say that answer of yesterday’s GRE question of the Day can be given along with Today’s GRE Question of the Day.

  10. Denzil says:

jus wanna echo mahesh’s view…….yesterdays answer along with todays question coupled with a brief explanation of the answer wud make things worthwhile……….

  11. Kush Gupta says:

I do agree with Denzil and Mahesh has given a very good suggestion.
Admin.. i think this is the best solution as we all are in continuous touch to the questions… Sending the Yesterdays answer (with a brief explanation,of course) alongwith todays question would be a very good idea to understand things better.
    Thanks,
    Regards,
    Kush.

  12. mahesh says:

yes that is just what i meant sir(administrator)

  13. admin says:

We are going to implement ” Kush Gupta’s ” idea in toto.

After incorporating all above views. Admin decided to provide correct answer with explanation of Yesterday’s GRE Question of The day along with Today’s ” GRE question of the Day”.

You can see the correct answer of Yesterday’s GRE question of The Day in the comment Box.

I hope it is acceptable and fine to all.

Answer at the time of posting.

  15. Dear Ketan Patel,
As you might aware that after a long discussion we decided to post answer after 24-48 hours of ” GRE Quetion of the Day”. So that GRE aspirant can discuss within 48 hours. In discussion they actually produce new ways. After seeing them many times I felt spellbound. I think that was not possible if we provide answer at the time of posting.

I think you got our point. let us know your views with logic so that we can discuss it.

P.S.: Don’t forget this is your own Launching Pad for GRE. We will never hesitate to implement anything that benefits YOU.

I have a suggestion..the website over time may get extremely confusing to navigate..do you think you could place resolved questions (where you have provided the answers) in a seperate link and ongoing questions in a different link…because right now some questions you tend to answer later because of a lack of responses so it is all mixed up…thanks

  17. Dear John,

We understand your concern, We are continuosly bringing all unanswered question within 2-3 days of the current date. So it means if question is older than 2-3 days in that case it would be resolved.

As this website is showing good response, chaning anything could be a dicey task. We are also expecting that within 2 months our subcriber base will be doubled, that is directly correlated with more responses.

  18. john says:

k….actually maybe we could discuss this point..but the truth is and i dont mean to sound anal but i usually write an answer and i have hoped to come back to the question to see the answers after 2-3 days …but honestly i rarely go back to see the answers…so maybe is it possible that you could either like post a link on the side so that we can get the correct answer immediately…we could still post our answers and then look at the correct answer and then if we think we are still right we can use the forum to argue…i am pretty sure there maybe tons of users who probably do not type in the answers and just wait for the answers….so maybe we should get the opinion of ppl who actually use the website and type in their answers on a daily basis if they have time to go back to the 15 – 30 questions that had worked on 2 -3 days earlier…and if you stop looking back like in my case it gets to more like 100…again, i dont mean to be anal but I just think its helps those who actually use the website daily…

  19. Dear John,

Thanks for sharing your concern. We implemented this method after much delibration. We will keep in mind your suggestion while bringing changes in coming editions.

Beside this, we are working on similar to your approach where you can find answer instantly, commonly known as ” Multiple Choice Questions” which is due in coming days.

  20. raj sahu says:

i think answer should be published but with a link and with explantion
    choice (A)

  21. Dear prathyu,

  24. saugat says:

yeah..this is a major issue here…it would be better to post the answers in the next day’s QUESTION OF THE DAY, along with a brief explanation. This really needs to be implemented, as the forum is so obscure, mixed answers from many of us.

  25. Dear Saugat,

Thanks a lot for writing us. There are more than 1000 GRE practice questions on this website. In those 1000 questions you can find ONLY 20-25 questions that are not answered. For remaining 975 questions you can find the correct answer instatly just by looking below to that particular question. We do not reply the correct answer for remaining 25 questions so that participant like you can give your arguments and ideas for better discussion.

    Hope you understand our views

  33. Sweta says:

    Hi,
I’ve recently joined this site and don’t have much idea about how things work here. But according to me the procedure you’re following now is correct. If you provide the answer (with explanation) along with the question itself, then we won’t be able 2 make our minds do the ‘thinking’ and also we’ll tend to follow your answers blindly without analysing the questions, ultimately resulting in suppression of many other better ideas. So it would be better if you provide the answers with the explanation on the next day along with the next day’s question so that the question remains fresh in our minds and everyone gets enough time to give their innovative ideas.
Thanks to TakeGRE team for being so flexible and open to all kinds of suggestions.

“Even we discuss different strategies for a question.”

what country are you guys all from? India? Just curious

  36. Maddy says:

One thing that can be done is that “Question of the day” should be sent as an email daily. And on the next day, a new question should be given along with the solution for the question asked on the previous day. Students can keep discussing their approach on the thread and TAKE GRE team will provide the correct answer the next day so that all the students have tried attempting the question sincerely.

    Hope it helps!

  37. deviyani says:

the option a is definately not possible….
why is it in the options???
i just want to know at end of the day if my answer is correct and if not then where did i go wrong….
why cant u just select the best answers from the previous days questions and put them according to an order
dat is ,…which took least time n easy method…etc..
and then highlight your correct answer….
    and yes i choose b
    At the end of discussion….

  38. hosein says:

    B
    after the discussion.
