yo guys…
the answer to this is “a”…u can outwit a ruse…in other words u can stop a ruse from happening…similarly u can frustrate or thwart a desire from happening….correct me if wrong…thanx…

hi madhur…
i feel prasad’s explanation is absolutely fine…but then if u look closely…statute and legalize…its like putting a statute into action..rather legalizing it…but then in simple words if u see…u r trying to stop a ruse from happening or a desire from happening..and here..ur helping the statute to be carried out…hey..this is just what i feel….maybe completely wrong…do correct me…

why not test:evaluate…. a ruse is used to outwit someone.. a test is used to evaluate someone…
