Ans is A

Col A : When you are in a round table the total number of ways in which
Jack and Mary can sit is (n-1). (Try with four 4 people)
Among them only one arrangement has Jack and Mary next to
each other. So the probability is 1/(n-1)

Col B : To select one person from n, the probability is 1/n

Clearly, col A > col B

Col A: {(n-2)!* 2!}/(n-1)! = 2/(n-1)

Col B: 1/(n-1)

Therefore, Col A is greater.
