x + (3x/5)*10 + (x/5)*(20-10)=45
=>x + 6x + 2x = 45
=>x=5

wow!! I salute whoever wrote such a crappy question..mind you GRE is a test of english too.. kindly work on it, coz this question doesnt make a sense..

I mean we guys can only answer if the question makes sense..if in case you think people appearing for GRE are psychos that we can predict answers!!

By the way aspirant.. what kind of mathematics did you try to do to solve it? how come - x + (3x/5)*10 + (x/5)*(20-10)=45 formed an equation?
Kindly explain-3x/5 & x/5 .. where did this come from?(thats looks like newtons brain solving it :)

the first thing is that,the question is incomplete.second thing is that negative of a photo,and the copies are different parameters.so there should be atleast 2 variables x and y.(but three is better because we don’t know if the first 10 prints and the second 10 prints have the same rate for one print.it should b something like x+10y+10z=45.)u can’t consider everything as “x”.so aspirant can u explain me ur theory please….
