Tragedian is a specialized actor. He is famous for or known for one particular role. In the same way pillar is a structure that is built with one specific intention. whereas rostrum(dais) helps(or supports) any speaker, but pillar is intended to support the roof.i.e. it is specially designed to support the roof.

think its “A” …….. a tragedian allots a specialisation in an actor and similarly “drummer” allots a specialisation to a musician …… an actor can be a tragedian and a musician can be a drummer.
