    morphine fall under the category of drug classified as opiates and whose indication is for relieving pain…..although it differs from other pain reliever such as aspirin…ibuprofen….as morphine is for visceral pain…not for headache…so the drug acts through its capacity of inducing sedation(state of calm: a state of calm, restfulness, or drowsiness, especially as induced by a sedative or tranquilizing drug )

    and chandu do you think all medicine soothes….different medicine has different action…so the relation between medicine and sooths doesnt fits here…as the sole indication of bandage is to protect the wounds from further external damage so as sole indication of morphine is to sedate….but dont you take the drug withour medical supervision..as its a habit forming drug..:)))..sorry for exaggerating the things…beware of morphine…:))
