Consciously focus on word list.It will help you a lot. Go through different vocabulary books like Win Over Words, Word Power Made Easy, Word Power etc.
thank you for the tip. what about learning greek and latin roots so that you can figure out a word definition?
and also, when studying a huge word list, I cant remember the words very well (probably cause they arent very meaningful when just in a big list), so is there a good way for studying word lists besides flash cards?
Just thought of sharing the meaning of the word “exhume” with u.
‘ex’ means ‘out’ as in ‘expel’ and ‘exhale’. ‘hume’ means mud as in humous. So removing out mud would be exhume or digging. While inter means to bury.
