    in today french word sentence is not much freer.
    can we go for rigidity…

    if it would have been other way round, from tighter to freer, then we would have say that it lost its rigidity…
    but i think its reverse, so answer should be license

    madhur, license has a connection to freedom.. and the question says the words in past were free now they are a little less.. so its kind of now got rigid rite..? so how can it be B?

    you are correct!
    see the blank, it says _____ disappeared …. so the thing which was in the past obviously disappeared …. so obviously license disappeared(not rigidity) as it moved from free to tighter … got it ?
