i dont know what exactly mellow means but i can remove all other options
Hospitable: Friendly,welcoming, so it will not be unfavorable
Vindictive: is evil wisher, so it will not be favorable
gigantic; means big, huge, mammoth, people might be favorable for such things so this analogy is also wrong.
lax: relax, slack, it will not be favorable
