Answers are as follows with Explainations–
1. a

Exp : different factors can be 2,11 or 121 other than the number itself and 1.

2. e

Exp : for the expression 20 - n ^2 the values of n can be -1,1,-2,2,-3,3,-4,4,0. All these are integers.

3. d

Exp : Let one number be x. Other number is 4times the first i.e. 4x. No, sum of these two numbers is -10. Thus, x + 4x = -10 yields x = -2.
and other number as 4 times x i.e. -8. No asked is smaller of the two numbers. Thus -8 is the answer.

4. e
5. c
6. a
7. a

hi..
1. b
242 = 2^1 * 11^2
no. of factors = (1+1) * (2+1) = (2*3) = 6
no. of factors excluding 1 and itself = 6-2 = 4

2. e
20-n^2
substitute -4,-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3,4

3. d

4. e
when 221 leaves a remainder of 4 ==> 221m+64 = the number(x)
let m=1, then x = 285
when 285 is divided by 13 the remainder is 12

5. b
1-9 nos one key is pressed for each no ==> 9*1
10 - 99 nos two keys are pressed for each no ==> 90*2
100 - 400 nos three keys are pressed for each no ==> 301*3
total no. of keys pressed = (9*1) + (90*2) + (301*3) = 1092

6. a

the odd integers
11 = 6^2 - 5^2
13 = 7^2 - 6^2
15 = 8^2 - 7^2
17 = 9^2 - 8^2
19 = 10^2 - 9^2

7. a
go from options
substitute -3 for n in 54/n^3
